Piggy-backing on my post from yesterday, I have to wonder if Lady Gaga's *very recent* eating disorder-admittal is because of Katie Couric's?  Maybe.  Maybe not. 

Just a week or two ago, Gaga shared that, due to her recent 25-pound weight gain, she has come under some very harsh media scrutiny.  I can only assume it was this that ignited her to come out of the closet, if you will, and confess her very personal battle to the world:

“Bulimia and anorexia since I was 15.”

Whatever the case may be, I hope that, by these very famous folks coming out and speaking up, it will inspire their stricken fans to seek the help that they need.  Because if there's one thing I know for sure, you cannot fight an eating disorder alone.
