The holidays, hosted by Bronson Van Wyck
~ It was one of those magical evenings in Manhattan where you walk away, grinning like a smitten school girl, saying to yourself, "Man, I love NY!" ~
Celebrity event planner, Bronson Van Wyck, and Electrolux co-hosted a holiday gathering for an intimate group of media at Mr. Van Wyck's palatial, full-floor residence overlooking Madison Square Park. Imagine: ceiling heights soaring upwards of twenty-feet - the world's most ornate fabric wall padding which, despite its visual appeal, also acts as a noise-reducing acoustic - a Christmas tree, rivaling Rockefeller Center's famous spruce, appointed with white feathers and antlers, among other unique ornaments - twinkling votive candles and freshly-cut peonies adorning every tabletop and ottoman - and a kitchen that would make Martha Stewart, herself, green with envy.
Bronson's holiday party officially began at 6pm and, in true Lunch Belle fashion, I arrived on-the-dot. As more guests began to trickle in, a bevy of brutally-handsome young men pivoted throughout the spacious sitting room and passed a trio of cocktails and a variety of hors d'oeuvres.
Moments before 7pm, the group was called in to Bronson's kitchen for a cooking demonstration. Aside from Mr. Van Wyck, we were greeted by his beau, and a photographer, from Elle Decor (Magazine), who was busy finishing a photo-shoot of the famous digs.
